Jesuit Student Research Symposium: Jesuits in the Sciences
We are pleased to announce the fourth annual Jesuit Student Research Symposium, to be held on April 24, 2018, at the beautiful new home of the Jesuit Archives and Research Center, 3920 W. Pine Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63108.
The symposium will be hosted jointly by the Jesuit Archives and Research Center, the Office of Mission and Ministry, and the Saint Louis University History Department. Our theme will explore the history of Jesuit contributions to the sciences, mathematics, and related fields.
Undergraduate and Graduate students from all disciplines and all universities are warmly invited to submit a proposal for a 20-minute presentation. Submissions may include papers, poster sessions, and other appropriate presentations on the theme of Jesuits in the Sciences and Mathematics.
Proposals should be no more than 250 words long, and will be accepted by the selection committee on a rolling basis. The proposal application cover page is available here. All proposals will be acknowledged and will receive a response within two weeks of submission. The final deadline for submissions is March 1, 2018.

Eligibility: All undergraduate and graduate students, at SLU or any other seminary, college, or university, are warmly invited to apply.
