Abstract: The Missouri Province of the Society of Jesus, established as a mission in 1823, was the second Jesuits province to be established in the United States. The General Governance collection contains foundation documents, general administrative records related to the Missouri Province of the Society of Jesus from its foundation to the early 2000s. This collection was compiled from various sources by Province Archives Staff.
